Many news articles and commentaries of the past decade have posed the question: Why doesn’t the US win wars anymore – not in 76 years?

I hereby nominate General Mark Milley as the Poster Child representing one of the major reasons the US has not won a war in 76 years.
I submit the following justification for this well-earned nomination:
Milley attended a number of liberal universities to garner his liberal degrees in such things as “Revolutionary Guerilla Organization in Theory and Practice”, “International Relations” and “International Studies.” His record does NOT indicated he either attended or graduated from West Point.
Milley graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in politics in 1980 after completing a 185-page-long senior thesis titled "A Critical Analysis of Revolutionary Guerrilla Organization in Theory and Practice".[7] Milley also holds a Master of Arts degree in international relations from Columbia University and another Master of Arts degree in national security and strategic studies from the Naval War College.[8] He is also an attendee of the MIT Center for International Studies Seminar XXI National Security Studies Program.[9]
What he lacks is an understanding of the US Constitution, our history, and the reasons why we used to win wars.
Later in his woke career he led a committee reporting on “the country’s near-term impacts from climate change warning that we will suffer a “total collapse…in 20 years.”
After Milley was nominated, he headed a commission with other American military officials that were responsible for designing a report on the country's impending near-term impacts from climate change. The report, which was released in August 2019, stated that the country and its military would experience a total collapse within the next two decades due to collapses in the country's aging power grid and food supply, as well as the increased risk of infectious disease outbreaks globally.
Next on his agenda was playing the role of socialist provocateur by lecturing a Florida Congressman on why he believes Critical Race Theory (a Communist-inspired means of creating racial discord) is critically important to the US military.
On June 23, 2021, Milley attracted notice for telling Florida Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz that he found it "offensive" that the U.S. military was being characterized as "woke" for including "critical race theory" in its West Point curriculum; "I want to understand white rage - and I'm white. What is it that caused thousands of people to assault this building and try to overturn the Constitution of the United States of America?" he added.[68][69][70][71]
Milley has been heavily criticized by many in the media and by both parties in Congress for his role in planning the haphazard and irresponsible withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan.

Of note is Milley was the architect of President Trumps talks with the Taliban and announcing a proposed withdrawal in May, only months later suggesting to President Biden that it would be a mistake to leave Afghanistan. He was later criticized for making contradictory recommendations to two successive administrations.
Milley was also the architect of then-President Donald Trump's future peace talks with Taliban that would be held at Camp David.[95][96] However following the new administration of President Joe Biden, Milley appeared to suggest that it would be a mistake to leave Afghanistan and that doing so could lead to Taliban take-over, casting doubt on how the Taliban and the Afghan government under President Ashraf Ghani could unite.[96][92] An opinion article on The New York Post criticized Milley for making a contrary decision during two different administrations, supporting peace talks with the Taliban during one administration and later opposing them in another.[92][96]
During our Afghanistan withdrawal, Milley failed to provide accurate information to the National Security Council that resulted in the suicide bombing killing 19 US servicemen and women.
Milley was blamed for being incompetent and failed to provide accurate advise and information to the National Security Council regarding the current situation in Afghanistan that resulted to the bombing incident at Kabul International Airport.[98][101][100][105] Some even compared the incident with the 1993 incident at Mogadishu, Somalia which resulted in the death of 19 United States service members.[105][100][98]
The capstone of Milley’s nomination for Poster Child is his treasonous and seditious back-stabbing of President Trump telling military officials not to take orders from the President after the Capitol riot. He further played “Secretary of State” by using back channels to discuss national affairs with China during that period.

Milley was worried that after the January 6 Capitol breach, Trump could “go rogue” and called a secret meeting on January 8 with senior military leaders.
During that meeting, Milley instructed senior military officials in charge of the National Military Command Center to not take orders from anyone unless he was involved, according to a write-up of the book by CNN.

“General Li [a Chinese General], you and I have known each other for now five years. If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise.”

Did he say the same to the Taliban leaders in the months leading to our withdrawal?
I had a difficult time whether the word “Treason” superimposed on Milley’s image at the top of this blog should end with “???” or “!!!”. Woodward and Costa confirm Milley’s actions; Pentagon officials deny them. Which do you believe?
Is there any wonder why the US has not won a war in 76 years with military “leaders” like Milley at the top of the ranks?
