Black crime, police attempts to enforce the law, resisting arrests, and subsequent shootings and riots - all expose leftist pandering to lawlessness of blacks and condemnation of police.
There is no question that the proportion of blacks involved in crime greatly exceeds that committed by “persons of no color.”
But despite that reality, leftist/socialist apologists for bad black behavior condemn police everywhere for attempting to enforce the law.
I guarantee that if I, a person of no color, was suspected of committing a crime, resisted arrest, and reached for anything out of sight of an officer, I would not be writing another blog, ever.
But, the liberal media insists on stoking the flames and pandering to lawlessness. The latest stark example is from the newly minted leftist version of The Drudge Report. Here is their latest headline:

Wouldn’t it be more civil and less inflammatory for the headline to read something like “Man shot resisting arrest triggers riot.” But no. And I bet that ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC and other leftist outlets will run this story for five nights in the row with the message of “out of control cop, without justification, shoots innocent father of three.”
It doesn’t matter that this man had an outstanding warrant for domestic violence. It doesn’t matter that he resisted arrest. It doesn’t matter that he was seen reaching for an unknown, hidden object in his car which might have been a firearm. It doesn’t matter that the life of the cop might have been in jeopardy.
I am fast reaching the conclusion that that leftist, socialist, Biden/Pelosi/Harris types, including every democrat mayor and governor, will do all in their power to extend affirmative action to include creating a second-tier criminal justice system based on race.
Why?
To accommodate their belief that blacks are not capable of maintaining the level of civility of the majority of the US population. They believe that blacks are owed this because of their own guilt over alleged wrongs committed by “white privilege.” They desire a criminal justice system watered down enough to accommodate the less civil behavior of a large segment of the black population. Leftists likely prefer that blacks be arrested less often, in spite of their more frequent crimes; that force is never used on their apprehension; and resisting arrest should be excused.
Many call this “pandering to lawlessness.” The left will virtue signal, foolishly calling it “the right thing to do.”
The “right things to do” already happened. Nearly 600,000 in the Army of the North were killed, captured, wounded or missing in their efforts to end slavery. Shouldn’t their grandchildren and great grandchildren get reparations from blacks for their sacrifices? Millions of dollars were spent implementing the civil rights act for litigation, busing, and assorted enforcement actions. Tens of thousands of qualified people of no color were denied admittance to colleges, scholarships, and offers of jobs, housing, all in the name of affirmative action, a blatant form of reverse discrimination. Isn’t that reparations enough?
No, to modern day racists, both black and leftist, this is not enough. They seek a two-tiered criminal justice system to satisfy their low expectation of black behavior.
A good friend offered the following policy solutions to promote greater equity in our criminal justice system to balance out BLM demands:
“In response to the current proposals by Antifa/BLM/Socialist Left influences suggesting that the U.S. justice system apply softer, gentler criteria to individuals of African heritage, I am proposing a further enhanced multi-tiered justice system that will apply to several other distinctive societal-heritage groups among the many that make up our great American melting pot. Some examples:
“Irish heritage: Any person of Irish descent observed staggering on the sidewalk in an obvious drunken stupor, be dismissed as exhibiting a deep-seeded Irish heritage trait of indulging excessively, and be provided with a free ride home along with a mug of Irish Coffee to soften the hangover.
“Sicilian heritage (distinguished from mainland Italian heritage): Any American of Sicilian background engaged in extortion, strong-arming, intimidating, caught with corpses in automobile trunks, or dumping concrete-weighted individuals in the bay; any such behavior shall be dismissed as hereditary influences and given a slap on the wrist and a cordial "how-yoo-dooin'."
“Jewish heritage: This is a special category that grants a free pass for lying, cheating, stealing or misleading congressional hearing inquisitions in their effort to convict, incarcerate or impeach supposed defendants.
“Asian heritage: Since it is generally known that people of Asian descent are generally of a higher mentality and of a calmer, more polite demeanor, they are seldom apprehended for anything and therefore in order to level the playing field, any individual of Asian heritage who willfully or otherwise steps on the crack in a sidewalk shall be immediately incarcerated for a minimum of 24 hours or a maximum of 24 days, depending on the severity of the crack.
“Muslim: The Muslim-American community has already and adeptly created their own set of laws and are totally exempted from any incrimination under United States statutes. Law enforcement is advised to steer clear of any involvement. It may be appropriate to include mainstream media in this category.
“This concludes my recommendations. However I'm sure the Congressional House Majority can come up with more classifications in their ingrained efforts to make law enforcement and life in general more complicated, stressful and frustrating.”
