Why I am not “kinder” and “gentler” toward Islam

In a word:  “Truth.”  I admit it.  I have sacrificed “kinder and gentler” in exchange for conveying the objective reality of Islam.  In fact, I am not as concerned about Islam as much as I am concerned about the obliviousness (blindness, ignorance, gullibility) of the American people (in particular) toward the history, ideology, and aspirations of that ideology.

For reasons I only partially understand, most media and commentators insist on sugar-coating the Islamic ideology.  Certainly the mainstream media and most arms of our Federal Government do this.  And the White House goes several steps further by embracing, supporting, promoting, and giving preference to Muslims and Islamic nations over other faiths and over our non-Islamic allies.

The great majority of voices in the media and elsewhere are only repeating the Islamic story line.  So many reporters and government officials have taken the easy road by uncritically consuming the propaganda pumped out by CAIR and various Islamic leaders and promoters.  Most likely they are ignorant of “taqiyya”, the  sanctioned Islamic doctrine of purposeful deceit in defending or promoting Islam.  You would think that many of our politicians who are so practiced in this technique themselves would see through this.

Not many voices feel obligated to reveal the negatives of Islam.  Ignoring them will not make them go away.  One doesn’t have to read and become expert in the Qur’an to observe the widespread hate, violence, and immorality promoted by the adherents to Islamic Holy Books and associated ideology – the rampant hate, violence, and immorality carried out “in the name of Islam.” 

Whether the “radicals” are a minority of that “faith” or not is beside the point.  The point is that Islamic ideology breeds quantities of hatred and terror we see occur every day we don’t see coming from any other ideology on the face of the earth.  There are estimates that Islamic terrorists or “Jihadis” comprise only a small minority of all Muslims.  If only 10% are terrorists, 10% of all Muslims is 120 million.  So “only” 120 million Muslims are involved in terror against the infidel:  Jews, Christians, and the west.  And this is considered a conservative figure by many.  No one knows for sure how many Muslims are in various degrees of “practicing Jihad” as a means of promoting their ideology.

While the majority of Muslims may appear benign or friendly, under that veneer lies a variety of possibilities of levels of “devoutness” toward Islam, and varying stages of promoting the ideology, such as:

The most devout tend to be:

• Jihadi leaders and masterminds of terror
• Islamic leaders: Imams, etc.
• Those who plan and stage acts of terror
• Those who fund and overtly support acts of terror
• Those who actively promote hate and distrust toward the “infidel”, “the people of the book” (Jews and Christians), and the west generally.
• Those on the sidelines cheering on this effort.

The least devout tend to be:

• Those who appear to honestly condemn Islamic violence and supremacism (how many are these?)
• Those who are Muslim “in name only” because of their heritage but who are fully integrated into our western culture (how many are these?)
• Those in predominantly Muslim countries who are preoccupied with survival and who are most susceptible to the influences, threats, and coercion of the more devout (this is probably the majority).

So, how might the percentages line up for the 1.2 billion Muslims in the world based on the above breakdown?  It appears that while a minority are actual Jihadi terrorists, it is very likely a majority are supporters of their efforts against the west.

While Islam is not a monolithic faith, there is a common “brotherhood”  or “umma” that is shared among Muslims.  This explains in part why there was so little outcry against the acts of 9-11, even among those Muslims who are considered “moderate” by their neighbors.

I chalk up the gullibility of defenders of Islam by believing that they are simply not paying attention.  And by not paying attention they remain ignorant and accuse those of us who are paying attention of being mean spirited toward Muslims and Islam.  In practice, the gullible and ignorant non-Muslims have joined forces with CAIR and other Muslim deceivers in defaming those who are attempting to bring the reality of Islam to their attention.

It is interesting to note the definition of the word “bigotry”:  “Irrational suspicion or hatred of a particular group, race, or religion.”  The “irrational” part of the definition is important.  Those who are paying attention to the nature of Islam and proclaim their informed rational understanding of that ideology are called “bigots” by those who insist on maintaining an uninformed irrational ignorance of Islam.  The “hatred” is maintained by the irrational against the rational.

Is Obama Naive or Malevolent?

Many wonder whether Obama as our President is well-intentioned but merely inept, ill-informed and naive.  Or if he is something worse?

It is possible he has “good intentions”, but they simply do not jibe with what most of America believes is the right course and proper methods.  It is obvious he is on a different wave-length than most of us as regards his methods in the realm of economics, his vision for the role of the federal government, and his priorities regarding our national security.  But he persists, urged on by his cadre of leftists, socialists, communists, and America-haters.

It is also possible that he really does not have good intentions for America as we have known her.  He and his wife have made their disdain for the present and historical America quite clear in their books and speeches prior to the election.  He has made his disdain quite clear in his associations with other America-haters and revolutionaries for the 20 years leading up to his Presidency.  These sentiments and associations are clearly in the public record.

What is also clearly in the public record is Obama’s affinity toward Islam.  He was born Muslim.  He was raised Muslim.  He attended an Islamic school in Indonesia where he was taught from the Quran.  While in college he asserted his desire to abandon his childhood name of Barry Soetoro in favor of the decidedly Islamic name of Barack Hussein Obama. 

Changing ones name is generally not all that significant.  But in the case of Obama, it was.  His father, stepfather, brother and grandfather were Muslims.  When his father, Barack Obama Sr., died in 1982, the family insisted on a Muslim burial. Obama’s grandfather, Hussein Onyango Obama, from whom Barack was given his middle name, was fiercely devoted to Islam.  Obama’s stepfather Lolo was a practicing Muslim.  Barack was drawn to the writings of Malcom X, the Muslim founder of the militant Nation of Islam.  Obama fondly described “Malcolm’s discovery toward the end of his life, that some whites might live beside him as brothers in Islam, [that he] seemed to offer some hope of eventual reconciliation.”  Obama was “baptized” in Trinity United Church of Christ (TUCC), but his baptismal record, if it exists, has not been released. TUCC is Rev. Wright’s racist, black nationalist, America-hating church where Obama spent 20 years. Obama declared that “The person who made me proudest of all was [my Muslim brother] Roy. He converted to Islam, and has sworn off pork and tobacco and alcohol.”  Obama described the Muslim call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”  Obama declared that “I will stand with them [Muslim immigrants in the US] should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”  He has stood in the midst of Muslim nations apologizing for all of the sins of America.  This list could go on.

Why focus on Obama’s affinity toward Islam?  What does that have to do with the policies he is promoting? 

What is one of the major objectives of Islam in general and al Qaeda in particular?  To destroy America’s economy and render it a defenseless entity so Islam can achieve its historical dominance in obedience to Allah. 

Many have suggested that Obama is destroying our economy by adding trillions to our long-term national debt.  Many have suggested Obama is degrading our national security by his foreign policy, his handcuffing the CIA, his trying of Navy Seals, his requirement for Miranda rights to be given to enemy combatants, and his removal of the missile defense shield in Europe.

Are these actions bourn out of Obama’s naiveté or by his malevolence toward this nation – enhanced through his affinity with Islam? Is it a mere coincidence that what Obama is promoting is one and the same as what Islam desires for us?

Obama’s “Muslim Nation” Fantasy

The following is from an anonymous source but nails the wishful, imaginative Islam-loving predisposition of Obama:

Dear Mr. Obama:

Were those Muslims that were in America when the pilgrims first landed?  Funny, I thought they were Native American Indians.

Were those Muslims that celebrated the first Thanksgiving day?  Sorry again, those were Pilgrims and Native American Indians.

Can you show me one Muslim signature on the United States Constitution? Declaration of Independence? Bill  of Rights?Didn't think so.

Did Muslims fight for this country's freedom from England?  No.

Did Muslims fight during the Civil War to free the slaves in America?  No, they did not.  In fact, Muslims to this day are still the largest traffickers in human slavery. Your own half brother, a devout Muslim, still advocates slavery himself, even though Muslims of Arabic descent refer to black Muslims as "pug nosed slaves."  Says a lot of what the Muslim world really thinks of your family's "rich Islamic heritage," doesn't it Mr. Obama?

Where were Muslims during the Civil Rights era of this country?  Not present. There are no pictures or media accounts of Muslims walking side by side with Martin Luther King, Jr. or helping to advance the cause of Civil Rights.

Where were Muslims during this country's Woman's Suffrage era? Again, not present.  In fact, devout Muslims demand that women are subservient to men in the Islamic culture.  So much so, that often they are beaten for not wearing the 'hajib' or for talking to a man who is not a direct family member or their husband.  Yep, the Muslims are all for women's rights, aren't they?

Where were Muslims during World War II?  They were aligned with Adolf Hitler.  The Muslim grand mufti himself met with Adolf Hitler, reviewed the troops and accepted support from the Nazi's in killing Jews and promoted their extermination as they still do today.

Finally, Mr. Obama, where were Muslims on Sept. 11th, 2001?  If they weren't flying planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon or a field in Pennsylvania killing nearly 3,000 people on our own soil, they were rejoicing in the Middle East.  No one can dispute the pictures shown from all parts of the Muslim world celebrating on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other cable news networks that day.   Or were those who were rejoicing just reminding us of the many sins of our “evil empire” as American-haters are prone to do.

Strangely, the very "moderate" Muslims who's asses you bent over backwards  to kiss in Cairo, Egypt on June 4th were stone cold silent post 9-11.  To many Americans – and in the heart of their Islamic faith - their silence has meant approval for the acts of that day.

And THAT, Mr. Obama, is the "rich heritage" Muslims have here in America.

Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to mention the Barbary Pirates.  They were Muslim, as are most of Somali pirates today.

And now we can add November 5, 2009 - the slaughter of American soldiers at Fort Hood by a Muslim major who is a doctor and a psychiatrist who was supposed to be counseling soldiers returning from battle in Iraq and Afghanistan.

That, Mr. Obama, is the "Muslim heritage" in America that continues to this day.

“Arrogant, ignorant, deceived, destructive” are words that come to mind when I think of this president.

What Haiti, New Orleans, and Detroit Have in Common

As it has been said by many of diverse political and religious views:  Haiti is going through hell.  Pat Robertson asserted that Haiti is cursed because of their “pact with the devil.”  Others see this merely as another random “act of God.”

I see the devastation and death as a result of a multitude of random acts of human ignorance and gullibility - and the “entitlement” attitude our federal government teaches.

Ignorance enables gullibility to cheap, easy fixes to life’s desires and challenges that often prove defective. 

Ignorance of what? 

• Ignorance of the need for a deeply held spiritual belief that we are created in the image of our Creator and He seeks our happiness, individual freedom, personal initiative, and perseverance to accomplish good.
• Ignorance of the need to free the human spirit to create and produce
• Ignorance of the need to limit the role of government and other dictatorial influences such as gangs, tribes, and dictators.  This includes the need to provide just enough government to maintain civil behavior and defense from attack – no more.  All the rest including education, commerce, and health care should be done principally by cooperative private arrangements with the role of governments limited to administering the legal system necessary to facilitate these activities.

Haiti, New Orleans, and Detroit are all governed by leaders who are ignorant of all of these essential tidbits of enlightenment.

All three places share a common consequence of their ignorance.

The consequences to Haiti have been known for decades.  Despite hundreds of millions of dollars of aid being poured in over the  years, Haiti remains among the poorest of the worlds nations.  The question is asked:  Where did the money go?  Contrast Haiti with the Dominican Republic, two nations that share the same small island (from Gallop):

The beautiful Caribbean island of Hispaniola is shared by two increasingly disparate nations – Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Haiti, which occupies the western one-third of the island, is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. At the request of the Haitian government, United Nations forces began mobilizing in December in an attempt to clean up the results of decades of drug-related gang violence, high unemployment, sweeping poverty, and corrupt dictatorships.

The Dominican Republic, on the eastern side of Hispaniola, is a rapidly developing democracy. It's hardly a rich country; one-quarter of Dominicans live below the poverty line and the nation is plagued with extremely high levels of income inequality. But it has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Caribbean, and this fact -- along with productive agriculture, telecommunications, and manufacturing sectors -- is bringing consistent GDP growth.

The current consequence is tens of thousands of deaths resulting from a natural disaster that would kill a fraction in many other nations.  Why?  Haiti has inferior building standards.  Why?  To cut costs.  Why?  They cannot afford better.  Why?  Because they have little freedom to be more creative and productive.  Why?  Because of corrupt leaders.  Why?  Because the general population is ignorant of several basic principles of enlightenment.  They have become dependant and helpless.

New Orleans has much in common with Haiti.  The same conditions exist in New Orleans as in Haiti.  Corrupt leaders and corrupt religion led to corrupt beliefs about the value and responsibility of the individual  The consequence has been demonstrated by the aftermath of Katrina.  That natural disaster proved much of the population had become dependant and helpless.

An “act of God” did not destroy Detroit.  No natural disaster destroyed that City.  It was destroyed by the actions of men.  Need pictures of the condition of Detroit?  Here they are:  Video.  It was destroyed by the same forces that led to the destruction of Haiti and New Orleans:  Ignorance of the value and responsibility of the individual.  Allowing liberals and other deceivers to condition the population to be dependant on government.  Immigration and multi-culturalism also helped destroy that City.  Is it any surprise that Detroit has had for years the largest concentration of Muslims in North America – the new culture that brings a dark age mentality to America?  Detroit is a poster-city for what awaits America as we continue to enable the same ignorance that inflicts Haiti, New Orleans, and Detroit – the culture of entitlement – the culture of waiting for someone to do it for us.

Dismal State of our National Security

Within a six month period in 2009 we've had the Fort Hood shooting by a devout Muslim, the Nation of Islam-affiliated cop massacre near Seattle, and the "angelic" Muslim from Nigeria in a miraculous failure to blow up a Detroit-bound plane.

These terrorist attacks all have one thing in common.  Our failure of acknowledging the root cause of the terrorist threat.  No, the root cause is not "poverty" or "the haves vs. the have nots" or "racial discrimination" or "religious discrimination."  It is not the "evil US suppression" of other peoples or nations, although this is a popular "blame-America-first" belief.

The root cause is our failure to understand the basic historical teaching and goals of Islam, and the motivation of those who become devout in its practice.

Instead we have leaders who believe Islam must be respected and dealt with benevolently.  We have sympathizers who continue to insist that Islam is a "religion of peace."    We have national security leaders who confusedly profess that "the system worked really, really smoothly."  We have a President who rewards Islamic nations while snubbing our allies - who has the Islamic threat totally off his radar of national concerns.  Heck, he doesn't even recognize any "terror threat" as a high priority, never mind admitting that 99% is Islamic motivated.

We have been "reactive" and not "proactive."  We are being severely manipulated by our failure to acknowledge the root problem.  After 9-11, we had cockpit doors fortified and searches of passengers for box cutters.  After the shoe bomber, we all have to remove our shoes in the security line-up.  After the European plot to carry small vials of liquid explosives onto planes, no one can bring perfume, aftershave, or liquid medications in our carry-ons.  Literally tons of these were confiscated at the gates.  As a result of the underwear bomber, we will either have full body scans revealing every mole or be subject to pat downs up to our crotch.  When the devout Islamist conceal their explosive of choice in their body cavities, we may be induced to accept body cavity searches as well.

Don't you think we are missing something here?  Instead of punishing Americans who love our freedoms, why don't we focus on those whose ideology promotes the terror?  Instead of reducing the freedoms of those who respect freedom, why not reduce the freedoms of those who want to destroy our freedom?  Is this approach too logical?  Yes, it involves profiling.  Before the Islamic cancer spreads further, every individual who claims Islam as their faith, and every individual from an Islamic-dominated nation must receive special attention.  This special attention must be carried out at the airport gates as well as in our selection of individuals for sensitive positions in our government and defense organizations and industries.  This is the least we should do.  Others may soon be calling for the deportation of all who profess a devout belief in Islam, or worse, especially if we experience another successful attack of 9-11 proportions or worse.  We need to stop our demeaning harassment of the innocent majority out of our insane desire to not offend those who profess their offense toward us.

We know our President is not with us when he declares in his book "Audacity of Hope" that he promises to “stand with them [Muslim immigrants] if the political winds became ugly.”   I take that to mean that he will defend Islam and Muslims in this nation no matter how severe the political backlash might be as a result of future Muslim atrocities.  Stunning.

Daniel Pipes, in this pointed article about our security failures, asked "What size disaster must occur to inspire a serious approach to counterterrorism?"

I would add "What size disaster must occur and how much of our culture and freedom must we sacrifice to inspire a serious approach to Islam?"

1939 Movie: Parallels with Muslims in America

Watch this movie.  So many parallels - and some unfortunate differences.  Here are some of them:

• Substitute the word Muslim for Nazi: their methodologies are uncannily similar
• Substitute the word Religious for Racial:  The Nazi's supremacist pride was race; Islam's supremacist pride is religion
• Substitute Muslim loyalty to Islam over loyalty toward America for German-American loyalty to the Furher over loyalty to America

The film depicted most German-Americans being ashamed of their German cohort Nazi's.  I'm not so sure that most American Muslims are similarly ashamed of their Islamic cohorts.

I cannot imagine a current prosecutor of Muslim spies or terrorists in this nation being as impassioned toward America as the 1939 prosecutor of Nazi spies was.  Our government officials and legal system do not have the passion for this country that existed 60 years ago.  And most have not yet acknowledge there are Muslim spies or terrorists in this country. 

The President is complicit.

New web site for the Newbie concerned about Islam

Many excellent web sites discuss Islam. But unfortunately, for those people just now starting to pay attention to this concern, perusing these sites is like coming into the middle of a movie. It's difficult to know who's doing what to whom.

There is a new site called Islamic Threat Simplified. It is the starting place for facts on Islam without the spin of political correctness. There is a wealth of information, dozens of links to Islamic experts and an excellent glossary of terms.

Check it out. Share it with friends who are just now getting concerned.

Obama’s Affinity for Islam…

Here is a video worthy of going viral on the net.  Obama’s comments bring to me the strongest feeling of being a foreigner in my own land.  He is our nation’s Trojan Horse who has entered our gates at the invitation of our ill-informed and gullible electorate.

His statements on this video about the glories of Islam deserve refutation:  He glorifies Islam beyond all common understanding of history.  He elevates the Islamic culture above all that America is based upon.

The video compresses every pro-Islamic statement Obama has publicly uttered over the past two years – statements when heard in isolation were uneasily dismissed as a random gaff or reminiscence of his childhood.  Most of us wishfully thought that such statements couldn’t possibly really represent the thoughts of OUR president.  To many, it clearly answers the questions about why a decision about Afghanistan is taking so long; why he panders to Islamic nations and shows disdain for Israel; why he eliminates the missile shield from one of our best European allies; why he supports Gaza, Palestine and Hamas over Israel, why he refuses to acknowledge that Fort Hood was attacked by a Muslim Jihadist to further Islamic supremacist goals.  It explains why in his book Audacity of Hope he promises to “stand with them [Muslim immigrants] if the political winds became ugly.”

What will it take for America to wake up?

Nationality does not equate with Doctrinal Beliefs

Some fuzzy thinking individuals caution that we must not make the same mistakes we did during WWII when Americans were united in feeling uneasy about Japanese after Pearl Harbor.  They had good reason to feel uneasy about the Japanese back then.

These same fuzzy headed thinkers urge that we should not rush to judgment about Muslims in the same way.  However we have even better reason to feel uneasy about Muslims today.

A more accurate analogy would be to compare Nazis to Muslims, not Japanese to Muslims.  Japanese refer to the people of Japan, a nationality comprised of people with a variety of beliefs.  We embraced people of Japanese origin in our military because being simply Japanese did not necessarily mean that they ascribed to the supremacist, violently aggressive doctrine of their government. 

On the other hand, Muslims, by definition, ascribe to a doctrine that has shown itself to be supremacist and violently aggressive and has these principles embedded in its doctrine.  Muslim is not a nation – it is a belief system.

At this point in time in our understanding of Muslims, the people, and Islam, the doctrine, we obviously do not have the capacity or inclination to discern the difference between peaceful Muslims and Jihadi Muslims – or when the peaceful will turn Jihadi.  Until we have a desire to learn the difference and means to discern the difference, it is foolhardy to have Muslims in our military in the same way it was foolhardy to have avowed Nazis in the military during WWII.

If you were the commander of a military base, what would you now do differently?

This is a question **I HOPE** is being considered by many base commanders at this moment.  Recruitment of Muslims has proven to be a “double-edged sword” (NPI).  What needs to be done differently to avoid a repeat of the Fort Hood attack?

First, within the scope of authority I am granted, I would modify the “cultural sensitivity training” mandated by the military to include greater recognition of signs of odd behavior and political discontent as exceptions to the mandate that everyone is benign and must be respected as equals.

I would especially assure that officer and senior NCO training include “signs of discontent, disloyalty, erratic behavior, anti-war sentiment, moodiness, aloofness, etc.” and courses of counseling and potential discharge as the military solution to these problems.

While others besides Muslims are capable of psychotic behavior, I would recognize that Muslims are in fact taught what we consider to be “psychotic behavior” as part of their “religious” training.  With this in mind, I would assure that my key leaders were fully aware of the teachings and track record of Islam (or what is politically correctly called “radical Muslims”) in this nation.  I’m sure there are abundant FBI reports available that reveal the anti-American, anti-“infidel” (“people of the book”: Jews and Christians) teachings of Islam in most Mosques of America.

I would establish a program that assures that anyone with identified “issues” is assigned two or three other trusted individuals in their unit to “buddy-up” with, befriend, or otherwise make it their business to know what is going on in the disturbed persons personal life and mind – as part of a limited evaluation period.

So many signs were missed with Hasan.  Why?  Mostly due to excessive political correctness, excessive and wrong-headed cultural sensitivity training, and excessive ignorance about the nature and teaching of Islam in this country, all of which mis-programmed coworkers into ignoring the many clear warning signs that were displayed.

But I’m wondering how far up the military food chain these changes would have to go to receive approval.  I envision a plethora of bureaucratic, politically/legally-correct and diversity-centric road blocks.

Every day is Fort Hood for the world community due to USA policies and & their tyrant totalitarian puppet regimes. Rest assure the slain terrorists at Fort Hood are in the eternal hellfire and it is not to late for YOU to change your policies.

And here are well-conceived comments from a reviewer of a book comparing Islamic and Christian eschatology titled “The Islamic Anti-Christ”:

The author shows that Islam is an ancient, popular, and possibly demonic-inspired religion through its sacred texts, and that it's currently a powerful political force bent on world domination. Its scriptures encourage terrorism and imperialism, and threaten the U.S. Constitution with its Sharia Law, and provide explicit directives to commit human rights abuses (prejudice, torture, beheadings).

In my opinion the U.S. response against Muslim states should be a political, economic, and military response, though the author recommends only a religious response based on prayer and martydom in the face of Islamic terror. Such a single-minded, conciliatory response is an act of surrender and enables an inevitable, intractable, self-fulfilling prophecy. I disagree with the author's recommendation.

Similar to the Cold War, where conflicting ideologies contested for world influence, the U.S. could project a powerful net of containment, hindering the spread of Islam and its empire-building ambitions. There is no distinction between Islam and a militant Islam. There is Islam, and it is militant, as its holy books brashly proclaim and its bloody history proves. There is no New Testament in Islam to overcome its past sins, and no Golden Rule to reconcile people. On the contrary, the author shows that Islam is spread by compulsion, not compassion.

The U.S. should no longer waste blood and treasure in the construction of new Muslim states in either Iraq or Afghanistan. Unless amendments are added to the Quran requiring tolerance toward other religions and atheists, and respect for their continued existence, Islam in the U.S. should be treated as a political organization under the law, not as a religious organization, for without amendment Islam will continue to be an intolerant force, and its religious and political leaders dangerous.

As the author aptly pointed out, 90% of the wars and acts of terrorism throughout the world are performed under the banner of Islam.

Exploring Islamic eschatology and Christian apocalypticism, the author shows convincingly how both religions' anticipated destinies are intertwined, and adversarial, with Armageddon the result. This isn't just a matter of personal religious belief kept hidden away in somebody's mind to be used for self-examination and betterment. Islam is a cause, and its zealots die for it, and kill for it. A political, economic, and military response to Islam as a political, economic, and military force is necessary, if one believes the prophecies on either side, and connects the dots as the author has. As Islam moves, anti-Islamic forces should move.

Obama’s contrasting views on “drawing quick conclusions”

Remember back in July during a press conference when Barack Hussein Obama defended his radical friend Henry Gates by saying “I don’t have all the facts but the Cambridge cops acted stupidly?”

Well, today the very same Obama warned the public “against drawing quick conclusions” about the motivation behind Hasan’s Jihadist attack that killed 13 people at Fort Hood.

These two events along with Obama’s radical history and actions doesn’t leave much to the imagination to conclude the President is a defender of his radical friends, holds police and military in low regard, and is either ignorant or disingenuous about the teaching, practice, and goals of Islam.

And who exactly recommended Nidal Malik Hasan to be a “Task Force Event Participant” for the Homeland Security Policy Institute’s Presidential Transition Task Force report “Thinking Anew—Security Priorities for the Next Administration?” Out of the several dozen participants on that task force, how many Muslims were ask to provide their advice on homeland security matters?  At least two stand out based on their titles:  Waleed Alshahari, Embassy of Yemen (a Muslim nation next door to Saudi Arabia) and Safiya Ghori, representing the Muslim Public Affairs Council. How many more were there, like Hasan, whose title was not revealing and whose attitudes and motivations not in our nations’ best interests?

Hot headed. Knee jerk. Juvenile rumor mongers.

Lacking self-discipline and apparently having the analytical ability of 3-year olds, the Islamic Jihadi’s are doing what they do best…

"Muslims were disrespected! The foreigners shot the Koran, and then they burned it. They should be tried for this."

Once again we see rage and fury over a rumor. "Afghans protest rumored desecration of Koran by U.S. troops," by Laura King in the Los Angeles Times, October 25 (thanks to Pamela):

Hundreds of angry protesters in Afghanistan's capital today burned an effigy of President Obama, acting on rumors that American troops had desecrated the Koran.

U.S. military officials emphatically denied that any copies of the Muslim holy book had been mishandled, and accused the Taliban of spreading falsehoods to incite hatred against Western forces....

Add this to the cartoon outrage and the dozens of other manufactured tantrums these people have staged. This reminds me of the, knee-jerk, slanderous crap I have experienced from a hot-headed b---ard in my life. Oh, the damage that can be done - as bad as sabotage. Obviously one doesn’t have to be Muslim to act like a half-cocked nitwit, but apparently it helps.

Grasping in defense of Islam…

Now and then in discussing the merits of Islam with someone, they will make a comparison with Mormons. This comparison comes about after I suggest how disconcerting it is that many Muslims resort to accusing law enforcement of profiling them instead of condemning radical Muslims involved in terror plots. The majority Muslims who do this appear to be sympathizers with the radical fringe.

The response is: “But there are radical Mormons and that doesn’t make the other Mormons bad.” Yes, and “radical” Presbyterians, Catholics, atheists, and Lutherans. This is a faulty analogy on so many levels. Let me count the levels:

1. The fringe Mormons are a separate and distinct organization.
2. The main body of Mormons established a separate organization to disassociate themselves from the illegal practices of the fringe group. (something the “average” Muslim fails to do.)
3. There is no moral equivalence whatsoever between the practice of polygamy by the fringe group of Mormons and the practices of radical Muslims involved in terror plots. The outcome of the Mormon radicals is more children. The outcome of the Muslim radicals is terror and killing. Both practices are illegal, but there truly is a difference in outcomes, wouldn’t you agree?
4. The agenda of the radical Mormon is to remain separate from society and raise a moral family in peace. The agenda of the radical Muslim is to spread their faith by use of force, intimidation, terror and killing in order to force their intolerant Sharia law upon the nation in which they reside.
5. The main body of Mormons publicly and privately condemns violence and disassociates itself from any organization that practices or promotes it. The main body of Muslims may occasionally publicly condemn violence, but privately supports their violent cohorts through teaching curriculum and monetary contributions that supports terror groups, the imposition of Sharia law and the eradication of Israel, Jews, and other “infidels” among whom are all non-Muslims.
6. The main body of Mormons preach, teach, and practice tolerance. The main body of Muslims around the world have a continuing and in your face practice of intolerance and violent reaction to anything that offends them. Things that offend range from cartoons, to family members leaving their faith, to opinions about Muhammad to legitimate and necessary efforts to curb terrorism (99% of which happens to be committed by Muslims) including alleged “profiling.”
7. Even if levels 1 through 6, above, didn’t exist, why do Muslim defenders believe that two wrongs make everything OK?

Comparison with Mormons, indeed. There are also too many "infidels" who have their head in the sands of ignorance.

There are various levels of complicities with the radical element among Muslims. While fewer than 5% of the 1.3 billion Muslims may actually participate in terror plots and other violent acts on behalf of Islam, a larger percentage openly cheers them on and facilitate their actions. A still larger percentage than that privately cheer them on and support them in some fashion. Another portion, those who may feel strongly against Islamic radicalism, will be intimidated by Islamic peer pressure to tacitly support the radicals, very much like the average German during the rise of Nazism. The remaining tiny percentage, the really brave, will become an Islamic apostate, with their life under a death threat.

Yet the average non-Muslim applies their non-Muslim morality to this whole scenario, denying that such beliefs can occur among so many people.

9-11: What if Obama Was President?

Several thoughts about where we are eight years after September 2001.

Can you image if 9-11 occurred during an Obama presidency – knowing the radicals, the “truthers”, the Muslims he is surrounded with?  Among the American people there would be an exactly opposite proportion of people thinking it was an “inside job” as opposed to a bona fide terrorist attack than there is today.  He would lose ALL credibility with the majority of Americans.  With Obama’s leanings - his past associations and his current advisors - his allegiance to this nation and any actions to overcome (if there were any) would all be suspect, and rightfully so.  His current practice of siding more with the nations of Islam than with our historical allies would certainly add fuel to the distrust fire.

In the months after the attack, there was a contest sponsored by the committee charged with designing the 9-11 memorial that is to occupy the Twin Towers site.  I entered that contest.  The heart of my proposal was to have a multi-culture cultural center featuring the worlds  major religions:  Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hindu, Buddhist, Shinto.  I suggested that these centers would feature the things these religions share in common, focusing on peace and love and mutual respect – all in harmony fighting against violence and inhumanity.

In retrospect, I realize how naive and stupid that suggestion was.  Why?  At the time I thought one religion was unjustly “tainted” by the actions of a few misguided radicals.  I thought there could be a “healing” if only we could all understand the true nature of Islam, the religion of the pilots who killed over three thousand Americans.  But over the years following the attack I gradually learned there is one among those major world religions with a false face:  Islam.  I learned it portrays itself as a “religion of peace” but at its core it is a fascist political system that seeks world domination.  Their majority is comprised of ordinary folk who conduct ordinary lives, with sympathies toward and support (both overt and covert) for their radical arm seeking the spread of their religion – “evangelism” by whatever means has an effect, including intimidation, threats, violence, terror, murder, economic disruption, honor killings and every other means taught by their psychotic mastermind Muhammad.

Those who see my rants about Islam and consider them ignorant and extreme should know that I came from a place eight years ago when I, too, thought Islam was a religion of peace like all others.  But the facts I learned about that religion over the past eight years flipped my perception.  Those who still hold the same naive understanding I had really need to take the time to learn the basic historical teaching of that religion.  They will come to the conclusion, as I have, that the roots of Islam are in conquest and domination by violent means – that is the “reform” movement of the 1.3 billion Muslims today.

My response to a clueless reporter about Islam…

An Orlando Sentinel reporter (Daryl) recently published the following request for insights on several subjects relating to the runaway Columbus, OH teen escaping from her Muslim parents.

I'm seeking expert insight (e-mail observations are welcome) regarding an Ohio teenager who ran away to Florida, saying she was afraid her father would kill her for converting from Islam to Christianity. She had been living with a husband/wife pastor team, whom she met through a prayer group on Facebook. They took her in after she ran away, rode a bus from Ohio and popped up unannounced in Orlando. Sanctuary: Just as our various states establish wildlife sanctuaries for animals threatened by predators and excessive hunting, humans should have no less opportunity to find a sanctuary, a safe place where they are not threatened by predators, whatever the religious motive the predator might have. The duration of such sanctuary needs to be for at least the period of time necessary to assure the individual’s safety if she should return – even if that quest takes years. A life is at stake – Muslims who change their faith are not blowing smoke when they express concerns for their life.

Religious freedom: This is what this nation is all about. Liberty is what they call it. The liberty to choose one’s own faith and life path. The concept is complicated when the individual choosing to exercise her religious freedom – separate and apart from the influence of her parents - is a minor. But remember, in 99.999999% of the cases in this country, minors who decided they wanted to “change religions” have not changed from Islam to another religion. In such cases, the child is not in jeopardy of being terminated when possession and control is maintained by the parents.

Things get dicey when Islam is involved. There needs to be a whole new set of considerations. Islam is relatively new to this country. With its recent surge in numbers, there is a renewed boldness to invoke the more radical practices (from an American and Western European perspective) of fundamentalist Islam. It just so happens that one of those fundamentalist practices, clearly taught in the Quran, is killing the apostate family member. This places a whole new twist on the scenario where a minor (a late teen, in this case) overtly expresses her belief in a religion other than Islam and embarrasses her family. She clearly feels her life is threatened – and with legitimate reason. When threatened with death, religious freedom for a teen becomes very significant – a matter of life and death – the same as it was in 16^th century England.

Anti-Muslim bias: You need to make a distinction between a judgment based on fact and experience, and one based on misinformed fear or hatred. Those of us who have been paying attention to the resurgence of fundamentalist Islam – both in the middle east and in this nation – have made this distinction. Those who remain relatively ignorant of this resurgence view those who bring these radical Islamic teachings and practices to light as harboring an “anti-Muslim bias.” That is a dangerous accusation because it dismisses the truth. I personally do not understand how so many Americans can remain so blind to the literally thousands of malicious and inhumane actions against those with whom Muslims disagree. See this web site for examples that occur every day. How else do you explain the psychotic intolerance at the depiction of Muhammad cartoons, or toward an author critical of another’s religion (Rushdie) by Muslims. Sharia Law is not just another political party. It is a form of fascist suppression of the freedom and liberty that has been the basis of this nation’s founding and most of the wars we have fought. You need to know that a large majority of those practicing Islam in this nation would like to impose Sharia throughout this nation someday – the sooner the better.

Honor killings: See above and here and here. Granted, Pakistan is an Islamic nation and the practice of honor killings is much more common there. But wherever there is a concentration of Muslim population in this nation, such as in and around Columbus, OH, those folks are emboldened by their peers and numbers to practice the purer form of Islam, which includes honor killings. Where is the “moderate Muslim”, this article asks?

Jurisdiction: Consult your legal counsel who specializes in such matters.

Propriety of clergy housing a teenage runaway: If that teenager appeared on my doorstep, knowing what I know about the facts of this case thus far, she would have a place in our spare room. What would you do? One would be a perverse idiot to do otherwise. Because her protector happens to be “Christian clergy” somehow makes his actions suspect? Give me a break!

Etc: I am glad you are seeking an understanding of these issues. Hopefully you will not be deceived by the common Islamic practice of Taqiyya: The Islamic practice of lying and deceit for the sake of Allah. Muslim ”insight” will have this tendency.

What Left, White Supremacists, Muslims Have in Common

The mainstream media portrays the shooting by the racist at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum as the work of a "right winger." Upon first blush, it appears that white supremacist was one of those fanatical far right wingers - the kind that Janet Napolitano warned us about a couple of months ago. That's the story line the left spins.

Upon more thoughtful consideration the facts are much different. Break down the components of belief systems clouded by popular labels and just the opposite is true.

James W. von Brunn, the anti-Semetic murderer, fits the stereotypes of left wing liberals and Muslims much better than that of "far right fanatic."

von Brunn, the left, and Muslims (here referring to their legal system of Sharia law) thrive on authoritarian, top-down rule while the right thrives on "bottom-up" consensus building representative government. While von Brunn may have hated our government and appeared to be an anarchist, at the core he was an authoritarian fascist - the opposite of an anarchist.

von Brunn, the left, and Muslims tend toward extra-legal, radical "take the law into their own hands"-type actions instead of respecting the rule of law. The lefts' passivity toward enforcing our immigration laws is one example. Muslim's propensity to terror and mayhem is another.

von Brunn, the left, and Muslims are known for their intolerance and inflexible thinking while the right is known for tolerance and the rights of individuals. The left is generally intolerant of captialism, religion (except Islam), and individual liberty; Muslims hate the west because of our liberties and rights.

von Brunn, the left, and Muslims are all to some degree anti-Semetic. The left wants to squeeze Israel into tolerating its Muslim neighbors who have promised Israels' destruction. Muslims are the essence of Jew-haters, just like von Brunn. Obama's anti-Israel views are becoming more obvious. And not surprisingly after sitting at the knee of radical anti-Semite Rev. Wright for 20 years. In a recent interview the Reverand said he hasn't spoken to Obama since he became president.

"Them Jews ain't going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter that he'll talk to me in five years when he's a lame duck, or in eight years when he's out of office." That comment can easily be classified as anti-Semitic. And this is not just a recent or isolated gaff.

In short, von Brunn is a leftist. He shares the primary components of the leftist belief system: authoritarianism, radicalism, intolerance, and Jew-hating.

Most main-stream media prefer to paint the opposite picture. And many Americans, and inexplicably many Jews, follow along with this lie.

Another Sign of Obama Sympathy Toward ALL Muslims

Talk about wasteful spending: Obama wants to spend $80,000,000 to relocate his Muslim buddies from Guantanamo to the US - in the midst of the worst fiscal crisis since the Great Depression. C'mon, Hussein! Thank goodness the congressional response to this absurd proposal crosses party lines.

Nothing better explains Obama's hell-bent desire to relocate the Jihadi Muslims from Guantanamo, Cuba, to your-home-town USA than his sympathies toward ALL Muslims, no matter their past deeds or current intent. The reason certainly can't be his desire to afford foreign terrorists the same legal rights enjoyed by US citizens, could it? Hmmmmm? But then again, granting rights of citizenship without citizenship to illegal aliens has been popular among the President and his misguided supporters. Why stop with Mexican lawbreakers. Why not extend this right to terrorists - err - misguided Muslims who yearn for rehabilitation?

Or could his actions be motivated by his desire to carry out a "good deed" in the eyes of the Muslim population at large by coddling the Guantanamo detainees so that he can earn their "good will." Unfortunately, that is both the worst case and most likely scenario. That is grossly misspending his substantial political capital to the detriment of our nation and culture.

The Good About Islam

Yes, Virginia, there is good in just about anything if you look hard enough. Just as the really positive person might find some good in the Swine Flu pandemic, there is good in the Islamic movement. (I've stopped labeling it a "religion". I'm still not sure how much of a "religion" it is because of the overt political methods and violent militarism of its most prominent adherents.) But I digress.

Several of the beliefs and practices of Islam are positives for human survival. (And yes, many of their other beliefs and practices work against human survival, but I digress again.)

These "positives" are:

Islam's moral code and their seriousness about it. Compared to Christians, most Muslims appear to be much more serious about and committed to their moral precepts. While the concept of morality may be dead or dying in the West, it is alive and well among fundamentalist Muslim, but also perverted in the manner they enforce it. While they often take enforcement too far (from a Christian and western cultural perspective), fundamentalist Muslims are no more extreme than the opposite amoral and moral relativist attitudes and behaviours of the growing preponderance of social liberals in the west, including many so-called "Christians." The Islamic moral code and amoral/immoral western behavior is the ying and yang of human existence. I understand that this moral contrast is a significant and effective recruiting/conversion tool of Islam.

Islam's commitment to their religious practices. It is a good, honest, non-hypocritcal thing to be true to what you say you believe. We have to admit that activist Muslims have become aggressive in promoting their beliefs and practices within western society. They are very dedicated to their prayer rituals. They are quite vocal, even characterized as "pushy" when it comes to imposing their customs onto the larger society, e.g. prayer rooms, no alcohol in taxis, wearing of traditional Islamic garb and other Islamic distinctives.

Islam's reproduction rate. The birth rate in Muslim-dominated countries, and in the Muslim demographic generally is several times higher than in non-Muslim countries and demographics. While the non-Muslim populations are stagnant or shrinking, Muslim populations are mushrooming. "Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth" is a universal mandate from the antiquities of most of the worlds' major religions. Not many nations populations take this mandate seriously. Muslims do, whether out of religious conviction or some other social cause.

Christianity, by contrast, appears to have lost its momentum. For the most part, its adherants seem to be indifferent, going through the motions, and not really fully engaged in or committed to the beliefs that their orgnizations proclaim. I understand there are exceptions. I speak of the apparent trend.

Islam is the new "growth industry."

All this makes me wonder why so many in our western society have been brandishing so much anti-Christian bias. At the same time, I wonder why there is so much tolerance toward a movement (Islam) whose actions have been so extreme and intolerant.

I'm wondering if there is some kind of sub-conscious sensing in the aggregate human psyche of weakness in the faith of Christians with a subsequent "piling on", much like the problem of bullying in the school yard where the confident bully goes after the recluse meek. Christians have lost their edge, their fire, their commitment to what they believe. They are being bullied and are on the run.

I am looking forward to seeing whatever might change this scenario.

Informing truth about Islam warrants Bigot label?

I understand that many Muslims are peace loving folk. Many Muslims have made contributions to science and medicine and art and music - I especially like the Moonshadow guy, Yusuf Islam, formerly Cat Stevens.

That is all great. But what are Muslims' greatest claims to fame over the past decade or two? These great "achievements", in no particular order, are:

* Terrorisim
* Abuse of women
* Intolerance
* Violence against their own people
* Calling people who point these things out "bigots."

Take for example the first claim to fame, which is also associated with the second, third, fourth, and fifth items, I offer you the following website, The Religion of Peace.com which lists over 50 Islamic terrorist attacks worldwide just between April first and thirteenth of this year - and how many THOUSAND terror attacks since, hmmm, remember 9-11? This doesn't even include the terror piracy of the Somali Muslims.

The greatest threat to this nation, our heritage, culture, form of government, and freedom, is the seepage of Islamic supremacy into our communities. For abundant evidence of these concerns, read Robert Spencers' Stealth Jihad.

While fascist or violent-Jihadi Islam may not be practiced by most Muslims, if it is practiced by only a mere 5% of the 1.2 billion Muslims that is a "mere" 60,000,000 Muslims who support or practice violent intolerance. Many of the remaining 95% are somewhere on a continuum between passive and active sympathizers. Yes, this political movement called "Islam", disguised as a religion, is certainly making quite a name for itself.

And those who defend it will call those of us who are concerned about its ill-effects on civilization "bigots." So be it.

Muslims (and their head-in-the-sand defenders) who are truly innocent of harboring such radical sentiments would do well to either distance themselves from or speak out against the radical elements of that "religion" rather than resort to name calling. Otherwise, the namecalling sounds very much like a defense of the intolerant Islamo-fascists who appear to represent the true, historical Islam which dominates the news.

Obama Misleading The World About Nature of Islam

Obama in a speech in Muslim Turkey today proclaimed "...our partnership with the Muslim world is critical ... in rolling back a fringe ideology that people of all faiths reject."

Obama conveys his "deep appreciation for the Islamic faith." He may as well express deep appreciation of Hitler, aids, and 9-11. His full statement: "We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over so many centuries to shape the world for the better, including my own country." Gack. Ya gotta be kiddn'. Barack, you mean especially lately, which pretty much is all that counts right now?

Obama misleads the world, especially us "infidels", about Islam in making this sort of statement. Islamic violence and quest for dominance is NOT a fringe ideology. It is at the heart of the Islamic faith. The Muslims who ignorantly cling to the passive nature of Islam and ignore its violent, supremacist core doctrines are the fringe ideology - the "apostate" Muslims as declared by the dominant body of Islamists in today's world.

Obama's national policies and defense of our national security will certainly fail if he cannot accurately identify the beliefs of the folks who have vowed to destroy our civilization. Connect the dots, Barack! See Robert Spencer's analysis of Obama's statement here for more insight.

Ironically, a few days prior to the President making his remarks, "Prime Minister [of Turkey] Recep Tayyip Erdoğan rejected attempts to call Turkey the representative of moderate Islam. "It is unacceptable for us to agree with such a definition. Turkey has never been a country to represent such a concept. Moreover, Islam cannot be classified as moderate or not."

Erdogan continued, making several false analogies between the "tolerance" of Muslim versus the tolerance of Christians, here.
